All of your settings and preferences as a Member are kept in one convenient place—the user profile. We'll walk through everything you can configure to make the Activate app your own.
The user profile
Whenever you need to change your settings, edit your wallet, check your transactions, or see any other user-specific information, just head to the user profile. You can get there on desktop or mobile by hitting the user profile button.
This is also where you can grab your QR code if you ever need to scan for an event.
Add a profile picture
Add a picture to make collaboration with your teammates smoother or add a human element to your customer interactions in the workplace. To add or update your profile picture, you'll need to be on your mobile device:
- Go to your user profile.
- Select Personal Information.
- Tap the profile icon. If you don't have a picture yet, you'll see a big circle with the first letter of your name.
- Tap the upload button to add a picture.
- Use your Camera or pick something from your device's Photo Library.
Public profiles
You can make your profile public and share some basic information—your picture, name, email, phone, and Channels. When your profile's public, you can easily submit your info on reservations, surveys, and a lot more. It's also a great way to display public contact information to people outside your workplace like visitors or other teams around your building.
To make your profile public:
- Go to your user profile.
- Select the Profile tab.
- Click the toggle Make your profile public?
If you're on mobile, you can find the setting pretty much the same way:
- Got to your user profile.
- Select Personal information.
- Tap the pencil edit icon.
- Select the toggle.
Your Activate QR code
Everyone has a unique QR code in Activate. Sometimes, workplace admins scan them to verify your identify or complete transactions for events and reservations. Just head to your user profile whenever you need to scan the QR code. If you're on mobile, tap the QR code icon to pull it up.
Language settings
Right now, VTS supports English, Português, Português Brasileiro, Deutsche, Français, Français Canadien, and Español in Activate. You can switch languages any time you need—just head to the user profile and use the language dropdown.
