In a lot of interactive content, Members submit information to register for events, make purchases, reserve tickets, and a lot more. You can check those interactions whenever you need to see how things are progressing or look into discrepancies.
Viewing interactions
To check interactions, go to the content you need in the Admin view and click on the Table tab. You can switch between a table view and a gallery view by clicking the icons at the top.
In gallery view you can see an overview of all the interactions that have been submitted so far, and in table view you can see everything in a sorted table with some more information.
You can sort both views by date and status—open or closed. Here's a quick reference for what's considered open or closed in Activate:
Open | Closed |
Created |
Cancelled |
Accepted | Closed |
Approved | Complete |
Arrived | Declined |
Assigned | Deleted |
Confirmed | Failed |
Rejected |
For more information, just click on an interaction. You'll see a breakdown of the user's behavior and any details that are specific to the interaction you've set up.
You can always check the Dashboard for the top 25 interactive content in the Channel, too.
Download results
From Table panel you can download the list of interactions as a .csv file, then import it to any spreadsheet or database software you need.
For example, let's say you set up a contest, but you need to pick a winner. Just download the file, open it in Excel or Sheets, then use the random number generator to select the winner.
