The Admin dashboard acts like the home page of Activate in the Admin view. You can check a snapshot of activity across your workplace and see your members' behavior. In this guide, we'll break down the dashboard and everything you can learn.
Note: In order to view this dashboard, a User must have permissions toggled on in the Analytics section of the Team Management settings. |
The dashboard
There are three charts and some major metrics you can check in the Dashboard. Each shows a different snapshot of activity across VTS Activate.
Adoption over Time
This is the number of new subscribers over your chosen time period. Use this chart to track how many members you're getting to interact with the Activate app over time. You can see the percentage increase of new users compared to the last time period or check the total number of members in your workplace.
Engagement over Time
Engagement includes unique interactions and views—when people are actually tapping into or using your content. It's a good way to track overall engagement and activity in the workplace.
Reach over Time
Reach is the amount of unique impressions over the time period—any time someone scrolls past your content on their device.
User behavior
The dashboard uses a few terms you may or may not be familiar with. Here's how they're defined in the Activate platform:
- Impression: someone scrolls past an info card for some content.
- View: someone clicks or taps a card and looks at the content details.
- Interaction: someone submits information on some interactive content.
They're all different ways to get some nuance on member behavior in the workplace.
Viewing options
At the top of the dashboard, you can choose what time period you want to display across the page. Remember to click the refresh button after you pick your filters.
The charts in the page have more information, too, if you hover over them.
Content interactions
Below the charts, the top 25 interactive content items in your channel will show in order of their interactivity. Use this area to find and manage content or survey submissions, check work orders, or see popular bookings that are running in your channel.
On each card you can see information for every piece of content in the list. You can change the view by clicking the icons at the top of the card.
