Verifying your email address
Verifying your email address is a necessary step in completing your account setup. It ensures the Activate workplace platform can send you important notifications about events and interactions that you have signed up for. We will never spam you or share your information with anyone else.
Why you need to verify your email?
- Account Validation: Verifying your email lets us know who you are and is essential in order to finish the setup of your account.
- Notifications: A verified email will allow you to receive all in-app communications via notifications. Verifying your email is the best troubleshooting if you are having issues receiving notifications.
How to verify your email address
On Mobile
To verify your email address while on mobile app:
- Select the Profile tab and then Personal information.
- If it says unverified next to your email address, click on Unverified to send yourself a verification email.
- Click on the verification link in the email and you’re all set!
On Desktop
To verify your email address while on the desktop browser:
- Go on the Profile tab along the top next to the channel selector.
- If it says Unverified next to an email address, simply click on Unverified to send yourself a verification email.
- Click on the verification link in the email and you’re all set!
How to know if my email is verified
- Verification Process: You will know your email is verified, when the word Unverified does not show next to the account.
How to switch Primary Email accounts
- Switching Primary Email Accounts: When you have two or more verified email accounts, you can select one as the Primary account using the radio buttons. Email accounts that are not set as Primary can be deleted.
