Why use Mobile Access?
Mobile access replaces access cards and key fobs by transforming your mobile device into a digital wallet that can store multiple access credentials and open doors by tapping or bringing your phone near an access reader.
That means no longer needing to touch passcards, readers or common area surfaces in order to walk through lobby turnstiles or to open building doors.
Admins: Configuring the Openpath Integration
To integrate Openpath with Activate, contact your VTS Account Representative with the following information from the Openpath Control Center:
- Openpath Admin Email
- Openpath Admin Password
- Openpath Organization ID - found in the url of the Openpath Control Center
This information will be used to create the integration and a registration link in your channel.

Look for the Openpath Registration link in your channel. This will be different depending on the channel:

Check your device settings.
- Enable Bluetooth
- Enable Location Services
- Allow Activate to Always use Location Services
Once your mobile device is properly configured, Openpath mobile access is now enabled on your device.
