Tags offer you flexibility when grouping content in the Activate platform. These Tags are utilized by Sections to display similar content to your Members. From Activate's default Tags, to custom Tags you create specific to your Channels, this guide goes over how to utilize Tags in your platform.

Viewing Tags
Tags can be viewed as a list in the Content Library under Tags. This view allows you to see all of your Tags, both platform-created and custom, as well as the number of Content and Section placements in which the Tag is utilized. Actions allows you to Delete or Edit the Tag.
Note: Only Custom Tags can be deleted.
Clicking on a Tag displays the Content and Sections assigned to the Tag.
Using Tags
Tags are selected during the Info step of content creation. When creating Pages, Posts, and Perks, you have the option for Data Collection. There you will select Tags from the dropdown and pick the Tag for your use case.
Creating Custom Tags
Custom Tags are helpful when you have a specific use case that is not covered by Activate's default Tags.
To create a new Custom Tag, in the Info step of content creation, select Tags and begin typing the name of the Tag you are creating. Select Create "Tag Name" to save.
