Viewing Charges
Each charge is an individual instance. Every time a fee is created, it gets it's own charge. Subscription charges will be listed separately under Charges as they are due. The charge page is a running list of charges made on your Channel. This includes Status, Customer (Member name), Name of charge, Description, Amount, and Created Date.
If a charge is Unpaid, Pending, or Overdue, you have the option to Void charge under Actions.
Creating a Charge
All charges created are a one-time charge. Anything recurring is created under Subscriptions.
Select Create charge in the upper corner to get started. Begin typing a name under Customer, and options will appear in the drop-down. Name the Charge and give it a description if you want.
When you make a new charge, you can add the charge to the customer's current monthly invoice or create a new invoice.
- Add to monthly: this options lets you add the charge to their existing monthly invoice—these invoices are issued on the first of the month, so if you added the charge on May 16th, it'll show up on their invoice on June 1st.
- Create new: this will issue the invoice as soon as you finish making the charge.
Under Line items, you will determine if the charge is for an existing item from the catalog or if a custom item needs to be created. Add one-time item allows you to create a one-off product or service that isn't already in the catalog.
