The Activate Kiosk automates visitor check-in, allowing visitors to scan their QR Code Visitor Pass and notify their host of arrival. Admins and Staff have visibility into Kiosk usage in the Activate Platform. In this guide, we will cover:
How Visitors Scan
Once a visitor has their valid visitor pass with QR code, they can scan it at the kiosk. This registers the visitor's arrival and notifies the host.
Hardware Tips
Changing Kiosk language
The Activate Kiosk can be changed to one of the languages offered from the Kiosk home screen (located in the bottom left corner). Once chosen, the kiosk will update to the chosen language and will return to the default language after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Accessing Kiosk settings
To access the Kiosk’s settings, rapidly tap the Kiosk in the top right corner approximately ten times. Here, you can find the Troubleshoot and Sign Out buttons.
Viewing Access Logs
When visitors scan their QR code at a Visitor Kiosk, that information is saved under Hardware Management > Access Logs. View timestamps, status, visitor and host names, and which kiosk device was used.
