VTS Activate gives Admins the power to provide translations to their Members, and Members the power to select their preferred language.
Multi-language support allows for admin-provided translations. This includes Tab and Section Names, Content Titles, Content Descriptions, Notices, and Content Blocks. Deliver a more personal experience and engage tenants with the ability to create and display content in multiple languages.
Setting it up
Contact VTS to turn on Multi-Language. Once it's enabled, you can begin the process of adding your second language. The additional language must match one of the available 15 languages.
Currently Available Languages
- English (US)
- Deutsch / German
- French
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- French (Canada)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- English (UK)
- German (Austria)
- Italian
- Dutch (NL)
- Catalan
- Chinese (HK)
- Japanese
- Thai
With Multi-Language support turned on, translation fields for content are enabled, allowing admins to input translated copy/content. This allows you to enter translations for Tab and Section Names, Content Titles, Content Descriptions, Notices, and Content Blocks.
Once your translations are complete, alert your Tenex advisor, and they will turn on the setting to allow your Members to select their preferred language. This is only applicable after your initial setup.
Summary of setup
- Talk to your VTS contact to get Multi-Language enabled
- Write your translations
- Let VTS know you are ready for the feature to be turned on for Members

Check out this article discussing Language Support, a feature all platforms have access to, regardless of Multi-Language Support being enabled. |
Property language
This setting allows Members to select between the two languages supported by Admins under Multiple Languages. All admin content translations are then reflected based on their selection.
Note: If a Member sets a language preference that does not match a language option offered by the property, the static platform copy will appear in their preferred language. Admin-generated copy will appear in the selected property language.
- Example: A Member sets their preferred language to Italian, but the property only provides translations in English and French. In this case, the Member will see the VTS-provided copy in Italian while all Admin-generated copy will appear in their choice of English or French.
