Permissions control user access in the VTS Activate platform. They allow you to configure which features an individual has enabled based on their Team membership. Permissions are configured to fit the needs and requirements of your property.
Locating Permissions
Permissions are found when creating new Teams or editing existing Teams.
New Team Permissions
When creating a new Team, you are selecting the permissions to be applied to it.
Navigate to Channel Settings > Team Management > New Team. From here you name the Team and select the permissions to be applied.
Existing Team Permissions
Permissions are configured for existing Teams under Channel Settings > Team Management > select Team > Gear icon.

Access-Control
Access-Control allows users to view access data for CCure and HID Apple Wallet.

Address
The Address permission enables the user to update the Channel's address in Profile > Info.
Admin
The Admin setting grants the user with full admin access to the Channel. This is used for the Admin Team granting VTS employees additional access for Channel setup.
Analytics
The Analytics permission enables the user to view Dashboard reports and Insights & Reports on the platform.

Category
The Category permission enables users to only have access to specific content based on its category. If left unchecked, it allows all users of the Team to interact with any content category. Once one or more categories are selected, a user on that Team can only interact with the chosen categories.

Channel-Module
Channel-Module grants access to create channel modules in the platform.

Content
Content permissions are robust to fit a variety of scenarios. The permissions under Content allow for access based on the content type as well as the level of access required such as the ability to create, read, update, delete, and/or publish.

The Email permission enables the creation and sending of emails to the Channel.
Groups
Groups are Teams. These settings allow for editing of User Management on the Team level.

Integration
Integration permissions allow users to view and manage the details of an integration.

Library
Library permissions allow a user to create, delete, read, or update Channel libraries.

Media
Media permissions allow a user to create, delete, read, or update media in the library.

Merchant
Merchant permissions control access to accepting payments in the platform.
Metatag
Metatag allows users to create, delete, read, and/or update Metatags on the channel.
Paymentaccount
Paymentaccounts are enabled when a corporate card is used to pay for services rather than a user's personal card in their profile.
Portal
Portal permissions allow Admin View access. Mobile admin is used for the QR code scanning feature, this allows them to view content, but not create or edit.
Profile
Profile permissions allow the user to edit the Channel profile they are logged into.

Property
Property permissions contain a wide variety of settings, from guest management to hardware, maintenance, and even tenant management. These permissions are especially helpful when it comes to Staff Roles.
Sections
Sections are folders that allow you to group content together. These settings allow the user to create new sections and manage the filters within them.

Settings
When a user has access to update the security settings of a Channel, it controls access to Profile > Settings, where Channel Configurations are set up.
Subscribers
Subscribers allow the user to invite other Workplace Members to the Channel.
Tab
Tabs are the “landing pages” in the Member View. This setting allows the User to create, update and edit Tabs.

Users
Users allow you to set specific user permissions for their specific user roles.

Visitor-Management
Visitor-Management permissions control visitor logs and hosts.
Webhook
Webhooks are a method of communication between two platforms triggered by an event. This allows you to link out to an app from the Activate platform. These permission settings allow the user to be able to make updates to webhooks in the channel.
