What is Resman?
ResMan is a user management and work order integration that allows units, residents, and work orders to be managed in one system.
Data Flow and Synchronization process
Data syncing from ResMan to Activate Multifamily:

Units

Residents: Residents are mapped to units and pulled from ResMan to Activate Multifamily
Work Order Syncing

Activate Multifamily imports work order Categories from ResMan.

Because work order "Problems" do not exist on ResMan, the "problems" on Activate Multifamily will be the same as the category. A example of this could be the HVAC Category will have a single problem named "HVAC."

If a work order is created in either system, it will push to the other system during the next sync.

If a work orders status is updated in either system, it will be updated in the other system during the next sync.
VTS Rise and Resman Sync Methods

A nightly update occurs at midnight (local time of your property) to sync Units and Residents from ResMan to Activate Multifamily. If a Unit or resident is deleted or updated in ResMan these changes will be reflected in Activate Multifamily in the following sync.

A manual sync can also be pushed from the Activate Multifamily admin portal to sync units and residents.

A sync runs every 30 minutes to sync work orders, categories, problems, and locations from ResMan to Activate Multifamily. Similarly to how you can push a manual sync for units and residents, you can also push a manual sync to update work orders, categories, problems, and locations if needed.
