What is HID?
HID is a mobile credential integration that allows users to hold mobile credentials on their devices to seamlessly open doors and elevators using HID mobile credentials and bluetooth enabled readers.
Data Flow and Synchronization Process
Mobile Credentials:
When a user opts to hold a mobile key on the Activate Home app, VTS Activate for Multifamily generates a mobile credential for that user.
If HID is multi-integrated with an Access Control integration, the mobile credential will be pushed to the Access Control System if the user exists in the Access Control System.
VTS Activate Multifamily and HID Sync Methods

When a mobile credential is generated, Activate Multifamily will immediately fetch a mobile credential from the property’s HID Origo Portal.

The mobile credential is immediately pushed to the Access Control System if Activate Multifamily is integrated with it.
