RealPage Integration

This guide provides you with the details about the partnership between VTS Rise and RealPage.

What is RealPage?

Realpage is a User Management and Work Order integration and allows units, residents, and work orders to be managed in one system.

Data Flow and Synchronization process

• Units
• Residents: Residents details sync over such as their First, Last Name, email, and phone number.
  
• Residents are mapped to Units and imported from RealPage to VTS Rise.
  
• Assignments: Vehicles and pets information will sync over as assignments.

Work Order Syncing

• Work Order categories, problems, and locations are imported from RealPage to VTS Rise.
• If a Work Order is created in either system, it will push to the other system during the next sync.
• If a Work Order’s status is updated in either system, it will be updated in the other system during the next sync. 

VTS Rise and RealPage Sync Methods

• A CRON job runs nightly at midnight (Local time of your property) to import units and residents from RealPage to VTS Rise.
• If a unit or resident is deleted in Realpage, they will be deleted in VTS Rise in the following sync. An option to manually sync units and residents from RealPage is available on the VTS Rise admin portal. 
• A CRON Job runs every 30 minutes to sync work order creation, deletion and status updates between VTS Rise and RealPage. 
• A CRON Job runs every 30 minutes to import work order categories, problems and locations from RealPage to VTS Rise.
