Viewing your Rise Receive Setup
Step 1
After logging into the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left navigation menu and select Packages under Property Services. In the drop-down menu, select Rise Receive.
Step 2
From this view, you will be able to see any existing Rise Receive setups.
Adding Rise Receive Users
Step 1
After logging into the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left navigation menu and select Packages under Property Services. In the drop-down menu, select Rise Receive.
Add the required details to the form.
Note: Rise Receive Users are hardware, not actual people. |
Step 4
Adding Rise Receive Locations
Step 1
After logging into the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left menu and select Packages under Property Services. In the drop-down menu, select Rise Receive.
Step 2
Select Locations at the top navigation.
Step 3
Select Add Location in the upper right corner.
Step 4
Give the Package Location a name. You are also able to select this location to be the default location.
Note: VTS Rise will configure the hardware and door controllers for Rise Receive. |
Occupant Workflow with Rise Receive
Step 1
- Occupants will receive a notification of a package being scanned in via email, and a push notification when logged into the app.
Step 2
The Occupant scans their Personal QR Code at the Rise Receive tablet. The Occupant selects the packages they wish to pick up.
- Occupants can locate their QR code on their personal app by selecting the My QR Code quick action button from the home screen, or in the settings of their app.
Step 3
The Occupant selects the packages they wish to pick up and selects Pick Up to unlock the door and collect packages.
Hardware Health Checks for Rise Receive
Rise Receive is a secure device outside of your package room that allows occupants to retrieve packages through a controlled access door by scanning a QR code. Packages must be checked in by personnel using a Rise Staff Tablet.
Rise Receive is configured by the VTS Rise Hardware team, so there is nothing for you to set up! |
Running a health check allows you to see if your Rise Receive device is online or offline. In this guide, you will learn how to run a Hardware Health Check on your Rise Receive tablet.
From the Dashboard
Step 1
In the Admin Portal Dashboard, under Hardware Status, you are able to check the status of your Rise Receive as well as additional hardware at your property.
Note: To see the Health Check for Rise Receive, ensure the drop-down is set to Tablets. |
Step 2
Select Run health check. This will refresh the feed.

From Rise Receive Dashboard
Step 1
After logging into the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left menu and select Packages under Property Services. In the drop-down menu, select Rise Receive.
Step 2
Under Rise Receive Users select the three horizontal dots next to the hardware you want to run a health check on. Under the drop-down, select Hardware Health Check.
Step 3
A pop-up will appear saying the Device is online or the Device is offline.
