Managing Tags
Tags allow admins at your property to organize your occupants by commonalities such as elevator banks, floors, tiers, etc. Once a tag has been created it can be used to customize the audience for any management updates, events, forms, or polls. In this article, you will learn:

Creating a New Tag
Step 1
From the Admin Portal, select Operations located in the left menu. Select Occupant Management and then Tags.
Step 2
All previously created tags will be viewable from this screen. Select Add tag from the upper right corner.
Step 3
Enter the name of the tag you would like to create and select Submit. Once the tag is created you will need to assign it to an occupant or tenant.
Assigning a Tag to a New Occupant
Step 1
Select Operations located in the left menu. Select Occupant Management and below select Occupants.
Step 2
Select Add Occupant in the upper right corner.
Step 3
It will ask you to add the occupant's name, email, and phone number and will allow you to assign a tag to the occupant.
Step 4
A drop-down box will appear with the names of the previously created tags. Select the tag(s) you would like to assign and select Submit. You can add as many tags to an occupant as you would like.
Assigning a Tag to an Existing Occupant
Step 1
Select Operations located in the left menu. Select Occupant Management and below select Occupants.
Step 2
Select the white box next to the name(s) of all the occupantss) you wish to assign a tag or group of tags.
Step 3
Select Assign Tags in the Select Action drop-down box, located at the top of the occupant report. Then select the tag(s) you would like to assign and select Submit.
Assigning a Tag to a New Tenant
You may want to assign static tags to tenants. These tags will apply to all occupants associated with the tenant space.
Step 1
Select Operations located in the left side menu. Select Occupant Management and below select Tenants.
Step 2
Select Add Tenant from the top right corner.
Step 3
After completing information about the tenant, select Tags. A new drop-down box will appear with the names of the previously created tags. Select the tag(s) you would like to assign and select Submit.

Assigning a Tag to an Existing Tenant
Step 1
Select Operations located in the left side menu. Select Occupant Management and below select Tenants.
Step 2
Select the check box next to the tenant(s) you would like to apply tags to.
You can select multiple Tenants at once if they all need to be applied to the same tag.
Step 3
A select action drop-down will appear. Select it and then select Assign Tags.
Step 4
Select the tag(s) you would like to assign and select Submit.

Utilizing Tags
Once a tag has been created, you can use tags to send management updates, events, polls, and forms to your tagged occupants. Select each title to learn more about that feature.
- Management Updates: Send custom management updates to individuals with selected tag(s).
- When creating a management update, de-select Allow everyone to see management update and select Tags. Then select the tag(s) you wish to send the management update.
- If you also opt to send this management update as an email to occupants, this will send an email to only those occupants with the selected tag.
- Events- Create a private event for individuals with the selected tag(s).
- When creating an invite for a tagged group of occupants de-select Allow everyone to see event and select Tags. Then select the tag(s) you wish to send the event invite.
- Polls- Send polls to occupants with the selected tag(s).
- When creating the poll, de-select Allow everyone to see poll, and select Tags. Then select the the tag(s) you wish to send the poll.
- Forms- Send forms to occupants or tenants with the selected tag(s).
- When creating a form, select Occupant under respondents and select the tag(s) you wish to send the form.
