Visitor Kiosk Configurations
Within the VTS Rise platform, Property Admins are able to manage their Visitor Kiosk configurations.
How to Edit Kiosk Users
Step 1
Log in to the Admin Portal and then select Access in the left side menu, and then Rise Kiosk.
Step 2
Select the three dots to the far right of the kiosk user you'd like to edit. Finally, select Edit.
Step 3
Here, you can make any updates to the kiosk user. Any required information is indicated with an asterisk (*).
Step 4
Additional configurable kiosk settings are located at the bottom of the screen. A description of each option is listed below. Select Save Changes when you're finished.
- Show Rise Pass button on Rise Kiosk?
- Turn on when a property is using visitor passes to grant building access.
- Show Directory button on Rise Kiosk?
- This allows anyone to approach the tablet, search the directory, and based on property settings, place a call or send an Arrived notification.
- End Users are able to individually remove themselves from the directory through the Mobile App.
- Show Delivery button on Rise Kiosk?
- For properties anticipating delivery drop-offs, this option allows those drivers to send a notification to users that they have arrived.
- Users are able to individually remove themselves from this directory.
- Show Forgotten Badge on Rise Kiosk?
- This feature allows a user to scan the back of their driver's license as a substitute for their phone app or normal method of verification.
- Allow Occupant to use their QR?
- This feature allows users to scan at the Rise Kiosk with the My QR Code feature.
- Hide Lift Pin Code
- Depending on if your building has Rise Lift enabled for your elevators, this feature will be turned on or off.
- Enable Light Mode Display?
- Changes the display mode from dark mode to light mode.
Managing Rise PIN Codes
PIN Codes allow repeat outside vendors like delivery drivers, catering companies, or third-party cleaners to gain access to the building with a unique PIN code at the Visitor Kiosk.
Create a New PIN Code
Step 1
Log in to the Admin Portal and then select Access in the left side menu, and then Rise Kiosk.
Step 2
Select PIN Codes then Generate PIN Code.
Step 3
From here, enter a PIN Code, who it's for, and when it's valid. Finally, select Submit.
Note: You can make a PIN Code active for a specific date, repeating days, weeks, months, or indefinitely by using the Repeats drop-down box. This can be useful for delivery drivers who make multiple deliveries. |
Edit an Existing PIN Code
Step 1
Log in to the Admin Portal and then select Access in the left side menu, and then Rise Kiosk.
Step 2
Select PIN Codes then the three dots to the right of the PIN Code you would like to change, selecting Edit.
Step 3
From here you can edit the PIN Code and any information associated with the code. Select Save Changes to save your changes.
