Native Platform Solutions
These solutions are built into Activate Multifamily and are available for all properties to use. Residents can be uploaded via CSV, self-register for an account, or be manually added by Property Managers.
CSV uploads are a quick way for Property Admins to upload Resident data to Activate Multifamily. Simply download the sample CSV, fill in the information, and upload it into the platform. This will create an account for the people added to the spreadsheet and send them a welcome email.
Residents can sign up in the app or web portal to create their own account. Residents will enter their information and it will either be submitted for admin approval, be auto-approved, or send them a confirmation email if your property is utilizing domain whitelisting.
Manually Added by Property Managers
Property Managers have the ability to add Residents to Activate Multifamily on an individual basis. When adding Residents on an individual basis, you will enter their contact information, assign them their User Type, and enable any applicable access permissions. This is method is typically used when there are few Residents to add to the platform.
If your property is integrated with an Access Control System or Accounting System, you will be able to sync users over to Activate Multifamily. Depending on the integration, different data will be pulled. Once Residents are synced from the integration, they will be sent a welcome email prompting them to download the app.
