Data syncing Between VTS Rise and BluB0X
BluB0X
In this guide you will learn about the integration VTS Rise has with BluB0X.
What is BluB0X?
BluB0X is an access control system integration. It dynamically syncs access control system data and occupant credentials while also providing visitor management functionality.
Managing User Profiles
Occupants and tenants are synced from BluB0X to VTS Rise allowing all user information to be managed in one place. All users should be created, edited and deleted within BluB0X and those changes will be reflected in VTS Rise.
Mobile credentials
The VTS Rise app allows users to hold BluB0X credentials on their mobile device to seamlessly access locks and readers.
Visitor Management
Visitors that are created in VTS Rise via the mobile app or desktop portal will be automatically pushed to the BluB0X portal. From there, BluB0X controls the visitor experience.
- BluB0X sends the visitor a QR code via email as long as an email address was inputted in the visitor pass creation.
- If there is not an email entered while creating the visitor pass, the pass will still push to BluB0X, but the visitor will not receive a notification or QR code. In this scenario, the visitor can go to the security staff to print out the visitor pass from the BluSKY portal using BluB0X printers.

Self-Registration
If your property is utilizing self-registration, Property Admins will be sent an email with the user's information once they have completed self-registration. You will then need to add it to BluB0X in order for the mobile credentials and access groups to work. The user's email must be added to BluB0X, as it acts as the source of truth. Occupants sync from BluB0X to VTS Rise. If the email has already been added to BluB0X, the self-registration will auto-sync.
